This policy explains what personal data TRCGATEWAY.COM collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run a payment service.
1. Data we collect
Account: email address, business name, website, language, a hashed password and, if you turn it on, encrypted two-step verification data.
Payments: wallet addresses, invoice amounts and descriptions, order IDs, blockchain transaction IDs and, when a customer enters it, the customer’s email for a receipt.
Technical: IP address and request logs for security and rate limiting, and the essential cookies listed below.
2. Why we use it
To provide the service (create invoices, detect payments, send notifications and receipts), to keep accounts and payments secure and prevent fraud, to credit affiliates for referrals, and to meet legal obligations.
3. The blockchain is public
Wallet addresses and blockchain transfers are public by design. To detect payments we query public blockchain data providers (such as TronGrid and public RPC nodes) with the wallet addresses involved.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service (servers, our email server, blockchain data providers), with a business for its own customers’ payments, and when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account and payment records are kept while your account is active and afterwards as long as needed for accounting, security and legal reasons. Technical logs are kept for a short time.
6. Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, secrets are encrypted, all traffic uses TLS, and accounts can use two-step verification. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your password and devices.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: your login session, your language, and a referral cookie when you arrive through an affiliate link. No advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, subject to records we must keep. Email support@trcgateway.com.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18.
